our mission
The US Hurricane Relief Fund Inc. is organized exclusively to provide relief, recovery and rebuilding assistance to the communities damaged by hurricanes and other serious natural disasters.
Donations are used in our ongoing efforts to provide relief and rebuilding assistance to the people and local small businesses in their time of need. US Hurricane resources are spent primarily in direct aid to local community relief organizations and to individuals needing help in that disaster community. We make needed donations to other community relief charities by providing the capital and supplies to feed evacuees, help restart small businesses, and fortify homes for residents to help the community recover faster.

The US Hurricane Relief Fund Inc., (Formerly the “ Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands Hurricane Relief Fund Inc.”), a Florida nonprofit public benefit corporation is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from Federal Income Tax under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). as a public charity, effective as of its date of formation on September 27, 2017. EIN: 82- 2959015. IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) allows Donors to take a federal tax-deduction for their donations to The US Hurricane Relief Fund Inc. in accordance with applicable law.
